Biography

Sacred Heart Church was founded in 1917 with the original church in Edgewater. The parish relocated and built the existing church on Barr Place in 1929. Currently, the church has approximately 250 registered families. We offer Faith Formation and have an engaging Music Ministry. The Music Ministry offers Contemporary Christian music. The choir is made up of teens and adults from North Bergen and neighboring communities. Rev. Kevin Schott is the current pastor and Art Suriano is the Music Minister.
